Great case but only cools for 4-5 hours The case itself was well made and easily handled insulin and needles. The two small ice packs, however, even when you start with them frozen, don’t last very long for cooling. I had the case with me at all times in a conditioned area and found that the frozen ice packs were back to near room temperature after about 5 hours – not the 8-12 hours described in the product listing.

Insulin travel case We used this case to protect my husbands insulin for a recent flight. Perfect size to store insulin vial & needles as well as an insulin pen. The removable gel packs were easy to remove. Case was sturdy & well made.

Protects Insulin Pens but… It was a good protective case for the insulin pens. Unfortunately, the ice packs do not stay frozen for long though. Also, the moisture from the defrosting ice packs tend to seep through to some parts of the outer case.
