Does the trick I have to take a medication that must be kept refrigerated on long overseas flights and this travel cooler is just great. I have learned that it is wise to take it out of my bag and just set it on the belt by itself when going through the security checkpoint at the airport. Otherwise, they will stop and search my entire carryon. But this little cooler really does stay cold enough for the 10 hours or so that I’ve needed it to. Nice travel case for meds. The case holds 2 vials. It has room for swabs and needles. The only thing I didn’t care for was that as the ice packs slowly melted the outside of the case got very damp. When I carry it for travel in the future I will need to put it in a ziplock bag. It does keep the insulin nice and cool.

Nice case but does NOT insulate I cannot recommend this product for anything beyond 4 or 5 hours of insulation time. I bought it to keep insulin cool on a long-haul flight – not even that long a one, at 9.5 hours – and when I tested it both with the included icepacks (FAIL) AND then with larger, thicker ones, found it to be room temperature after about 7 hours. It is an attractive, well-made product with purpose-designed places to put your vials and insulin pens, but it won’t work to keep them refrigerated overnight. If…
