The ® Cooling Case will improve the life of anyone dependent on insulin or many other temperature-sensitive medications.

The FRIO® is a cooler whose cooling properties do not come from an icepack – or anything that needs refrigeration. Its cooling properties come from the evaporation of water. When activated, it keeps its temperature under 78F for a minimum of two days, even in temperatures of 100°F.

For a FRIO® to be activated, simply soak it in water for 5 – 10 minutes. It retains its cooling properties for a minimum of two full days. After that, re-soak it in water and it is good for another two days – and so on, and so on…

While a traditional cooling case gives you a six to eight hour “chain” to refrigeration, FRIO cuts that chain. The FRIO® offers the security of not being dependent on refrigeration for the life-critical cooling of your insulin. It gives you freedom and flexibility to enjoy life as you choose.

Furthermore, because you do not need an icepack or the surrounding insulating materials, the FRIO® wallet is lighter and smaller than traditional medication-cooling cases. There are various sizes of FRIO® available – some small enough to fit in your jean pocket.

Using for Epi Pen! So thankful for this! This is a great solution to being outside in the heat with an Epi Pen. You can control the temperature with cool water so it is not too cold for the Epi. It stays cool for days and does not get moldy or leak when I use the included breathable bag, even in my purse. The XL size fits 2-3 Epi Pens and keeps them at the proper temperature (between 68-77 degrees F) for 72 hours +. We live in an area that reaches over 100 degrees in the summer and the Frio stays cool outside for hours (we’ve been out…

Doctor recommended and for good reason Our nurse recommended FRIO packs as being the top way to transport insulin and this Extra Large pack didn’t disappoint. We took a trip to CA recently and had no problems with the insulin spoiling. However, we did learn a few things:1. Follow the instructions completely. They may be a bit overwhelming but read them carefully.2. Don’t think you can just put your insulin in the FRIO pack and go; it does take time to get the pack ready.3. Don’t over-saturate the FRIO insert; if…

Two Epi’s and an Inhaler Just wanted to mention for those of you using Epipens….I debated between the Large and XL. We need to hold two Epipens and an inhaler. I bought the XL and I’m glad I did. It will hold the two Epipens in their plastic cases, plus an inhaler without any problem. I believe for the Large, it would work. But according to another reviewer you would have to remove the Epi’s from their cases, and the velcro would not close all the way. I didn’t want to have to remove them from their case, nor worry…
