OK This is an OK item and I might have returned it except for the return cost. It was purchased for my husband to have cool storage for his Quikpen, and w/the hope he could slip it into a pocket to easily carry his “before meal insulin.” I say it is only OK because the unit is a somewhat hard case, slightly wider than an eyeglass case and bulky for a pocket. And there is no inside or outside pocket for a couple of swabs or needles, so we just lay them inside loose – and risk them falling…

NOT for really hot climates AT ALL. I live in the Desert Southwest.Yesterday, The recorded High Temp in my area was 89.5 Degrees.I tried one of these with a frozen Cooler packet. Used this in my Pickup truck, on seat, out of sun. In less than 3 Hours, the temp went from 40 to 85! When it gets REAL hot here, the outside temps will exceed 110.MY advise: Unless you have deep pockets and can afford a high-end mobile refrigeration system, I would consider using a simple 6pack cooler with a appropriate…

It is just okay, very small It is small, barely fits two insulin pens and the ice pack. The ice pack provided is worthless. I had the ice pack frozen solid and within 2 hours it was room temperature and the case wasn’t cold. I would not recommend this if you are traveling long distance. It would work good for running quick errands around town, that’s it. I am searching for another ice pack that would fit to see if that would make a difference.
