I was extremely pleased at the results I selected this bag for our trip from San Francisco to the Galapagos Islands via Ecuador. I have a high end thermal temperature reader and ran pre-checks(Sorry, didn’t write down actual numbers) but the blue ice temperature was around 21 degrees when I inserted it the med bag, Too cold for my insulin but was floored when the surface temperature through the mesh was about 36 degrees within the allowable range for my insulin. Frozen enough for my medication to stay cool on the trip to the next island I recently traveled to Hawaii which included a 9+ hour flight plus a few hours to get to hotel so over 14 hours of total travel time before I had a refrigerator to put my medication. When I got to my hotel room the ice pack was still almost completely frozen. I didn’t have a freezer to put it in so put in the mini fridge where it stayed for 2 days and it was still partially frozen when I took it out after those 2 days.
