I have tried other needles, and they actually do hurt a little bit more when being inserted. I don’t know what BD does to these to cause them to be less painful, but they really are. Also I have experimented with shorter, 5mm needles. I found that with the shorter needles, it takes much more effort on my part to keep the needle inserted while I am pressing the button on the pen to inject the drug, so I have gone back to the 8mm…

Foreign Product It wasn’t mentioned that the box would have labeling in a foreign language. As far as I can tell it’s the same product, but the packaging didn’t have the typical English, French, Spanish, etc., like the box from the pharmacy has. It had English, Russian, Arabic, and other languages so foreign that I don’t recognize them. It just concerns me that maybe they’re not manufactured to the same specifications and regulations as the US. Not exactly comforting for something that’s going into my body.

Great price, BD is the best I always buy these online because the price is better than with my insurance! I never buy pen needles except for BD. I’ve never had problems with injecting insulin through these.
