Highly recommend it for your purse This item is perfect for my purse. I have gestational diabetes and I needed a Sharps container that easily fit into my rather small purse and could be reusable so I could dump the lancets and test strips in my regular-sized Sharps container when I got hope. It’s very easy to open and close and the size makes it very discrete and lightweight in my purse.

Great item & portable It works beautifully for my lancettes & blood strips. I empty it at my monthly appointments in my Doctors medical refuse bin. It’s a win-win

Will hold syringes and pen needle tips I chose this to hold my used pen needles and test strips when I am not home to dispose of them in my large sharps container. It is bigger than I expected, I had read reviews that questioned whether regular insulin syringes would fit and since some said no, I thought it would be much smaller. It is plenty large enough to hold eight or ten regular syringes and many, many pen needles. It has a strange little tab to close the lid, but it has held up fine. The price is reasonable.
