Missing inner waterproof pouch I love FRIO packs, and use them to keep my insulin cool when I travel in hot climes. They really do work, and I’m sure they have prevented many a hospital visit due to ineffectual insulin.I ordered this to keep my pump cool this summer, but I did not receive the waterproof pouch. The package only had the gel pack and the outer pouch, and I may have caused significant damage to my pump without the waterproof inner pouch. Be careful when you receive your order!

It doesn’t quite last all day, as I would like it to, and I’m thinking it would be nice if they were to offer a 2-pack — you could be using one while the other was resting in a cool place, ready to be substituted out if necessary. But in general, I don’t know how I ever lived without it! 🙂

Does the job The only problem is access to the pump in case of alarm. My wife likes to sleep under layers of covers shortening the insulin life in her pump. We got this cooler for her to wear at night, but when the pump alarms, you need to open the case and pull it out, correct the alarm, then put it back in the case. Needless to say, that process lasted one night. Not a fault of the Frio, just a bad plan on my part. Otherwise, keeps everything cool.
